Refunds

If the book is not for you, say so.

Thirty days, no argument.

If you ordered a copy directly and it is not what you hoped for, write within thirty days of it arriving and you will be refunded in full. You do not have to explain why, and in most cases you do not have to send the book back — if you do return it, postage is at your own cost.

How to ask

Write to namaste@whyindians.com with the name the order was placed under and roughly when it arrived. Refunds are made by the same route the payment came in, usually within a week.

Damaged or lost in the post

If it arrives damaged, or does not arrive at all, write and a replacement will be sent. This is not counted against the thirty days.

Bought from a store

If you bought the book from Amazon or another retailer, their returns process applies and is usually faster than anything that can be arranged here. Their policy governs that purchase, not this page.

The free chapters

The Preface and Chapter One cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund. Read them first — that is what they are for.
